2.12. When printing from the Image Viewer, blank pages are printing instead of the image

Symptoms:

The user prints a document but one or more pages may be blank. This occurs if the browser runs out of memory for the print stack. This usually occurs when users print a large document.

Toubleshooting Tips:

Ensure the workstation meets the minimum software and hardware specifications.

Allocate more memory to the browser, using the same procedure above.

Update the JRE to build update 11. The version number shows the build update, e.g. 1.5.0_11.

There is also a workaround of having the user Export the Document of PDF format, and then printing the document for Adobe Reader. This is done with the "Export Document" button on the Image Utilities page.
